Tigertailz Reform, Prepare To Record New Album

Somebody has to go to that show and take pictures and tell us if this indeed deserves the name "Tigertailz" on it!!!

Agreed, For me given that Pepsi, and Jay were the main songwriters for TT, then this new one is not really TT is it, unless it has all original members or at least more than half, it shouldn't be called the same name, its a new band (and I would count Kim in that as for me he was the best singer for them)

Acclaimed 1980s U.K. glam rockers TIGERTAILZ have reformed and are planning to record a new album, due in early 2004. The reunited group — featuring original members Steevi Jaimz (vocals) and Ace Finchum (drums) alongside new guitarist Joolz and bassist Greg Wraith — will be opening for ENUFF Z'NUFF on August 24 at Rock City in Nottingham, England and will enter the studio on October 7 to begin recording the new CD — the band's first since 1995's "Wazbones".

"[The reunion] has come about after months of phone calls and talks generated by the release of the TIGERTAILZ 'Original Sin' CD [containing the band's early material]," Jaimz told Metal Sludge. "We're both really excited at the prospect of recording a new record . . .

"We're currently in talks with a company based in Nottingham, although nothing is signed as yet. This is the first time in over a decade that we've worked together again, a bunch of new songs have already been written and let me assure you, they'll definitely kick your arse! A release date is scheduled for around March 2004, expect dates and all the usual from the UK's 'one and only' glam rock 'n roll band.

"By the way, if anybody's wondering why [bassist] Pepsi [Tate] and [guitarist] Jay [Pepper] aren't included in the line-up, it's because both declined the offer stating family and other work commitments as their reasons — they were asked. Anyway, back to the point, our new incarnation of 'TAILZ is absolutely dynamite. If you were into us before you're gonna love it."
